TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

Please read these terms & conditions carefully before using these parts. These terms and conditions apply to the use of these parts and by using them and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, do not use these parts.

Disclaimer

Distributor Doctor Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses resulting from: (i) the use or the inability to use the service; (ii) the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the service; (iii) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iv) statements or conduct of any third party on the service; or (v) any other matter relating to the service.

GDPR 2018

By entering into a contract for order/services with Distributor Doctor Ltd, you are giving consent for us to use your data to fulfil this requirement and to keep for the minimum period necessary (see our Data Privacy/Protection Policies on our website) under the GDPR 2018 ruling.

 

Returns & Warranty

 

Returns

If you change your mind about your order, all uninstalled or unused goods in their original presale condition and undamaged packaging may be returned to Distributor Doctor within 90 days of purchase for a refund. A copy of the original invoice (which is generally attached to the original packaging) must accompany the return.

Return postage and packaging costs must be paid by the customer. Unless the return is due to our error, in which case you will be refunded for the return delivery cost; least expensive method of delivery only. If you choose an alternative method of delivery you will be liable for any extra cost. Proof of postage is advisable which is available from the Post Office.

Parts returned outside of this policy, or in a non-resalable condition with evidence of use beyond the handling, necessary to see whether the goods are as expected resulting in a loss of value, may not be accepted or may be subject to a 15% handling fee, which will be deducted from your refund.
Refunds are made via the original payment method.

Warranty

All parts ordered from Distributor Doctor Ltd are fully warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for various periods dependent on part acquired from the date of purchase. Warranty settlements will not exceed the cost of the original component.
EXCEPTION: WE DO NOT OFFER A WARRANTY ON PARTS THAT ARE FITTED TO VEHICLES THAT ARE USED IN MOTORSPORT, COMPETITION, ROAD RALLY OR TRACK EVENTS. FOR THESE PURPOSES, THE BUYER ASSUMES ALL RESPONSIBLITY THAT THE COMPONENTS ARE FIT FOR USE.

The warranty does not cover:

  1. Labour charges
  2. Failure of or caused by related component(s)
  3. Failure resulting from incorrect installation or misuse

Warranty Returns

If a part you purchased from Distributor Doctor Ltd fails in use, please contact us immediately. The part may be returned within 12 months from the date of purchase. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of the original invoice.

You will be refunded for the cost of return delivery; least expensive method of delivery only. If you choose an alternative method of delivery you will be liable for any extra cost. Electrical parts returned for warranty will be tested and if found functional, no refund will be given and the part will be returned to you. Refunds are made via the original payment method.

For customers returning warranty parts from outside of the UK, we request that all shipping paperwork used by either a carrier or the Post Office state the return reason as “For Repair” or “Warranty Item Only”. Failure to do so could incur additional Customs & Excise charges which the customer MAY be liable for.

Incorrect Orders

When you, the customer, incorrectly orders part/s and require an exchange/refund, postage will be paid by the customer in all subsequent returns.

Incorrect Delivery

We apologise for any parts incorrectly supplied by Distributor Doctor. Should this happen please return these parts to us and we will exchange them for the correct parts and return postage will be paid by us.
You will be refunded via the original payment method for the cost of return delivery, standard or least expensive method of delivery only. If you choose an alternative method of delivery you will be liable for any extra cost.
